Summary of the 15 Day Meditation Challenge

Starting on June 3rd together as a community we’ll be meditating together and practicing daily gratitude. 

  • An email on June 2, June 7, June 12 with a meditation track to use for the following 5 days and helpful tips for how to meditate
  • Meditation tracks will gradually increase in length; 3 minutes, 5 minutes and 10 minutes
  • Tips to get started on your meditation
  • Daily gratitude reminders/prompts

What to Expect 

This meditation challenge centres around gratitude. Practicing daily gratitude has numerous proven benefits such as; decreased levels of depression, higher levels of well-being and even increased sleep quality. Gratitude meditation can reliably increase feelings of gratitude. This might seem like a silly or obvious finding but it is important to verify that gratitude meditation leads to increased feelings of gratitude rather than just assume it does because it seems like a given. The results are almost immediate which is very exciting. With just two minutes of gratitude meditation a day you can enjoy the aforementioned benefits. Every day you will be given a gratitude “prompt” that you’re encouraged to answer in your meditation journal or through social media. You’ll also be following along with guided meditations from Wild Peace that will take you from three minutes to five minutes to eventually ten minutes a day. McKye, of Wild Peace, will be available to answer any questions or concerns that arise throughout your journey.

The biggest threat to meditation isn’t thoughts, it’s consistency. By consistently practicing the guided meditations and filling out the prompts of gratitude we guarantee that you’ll finish the fifteen days not only feeling lighter and grateful but with a seed planted that will carry you into your beautiful meditation practice.
