Support is provided by a dedicated and caring group of staff and volunteers, all of whom have lived experience with a mood disorder.   Peer support is provided in the form of:

Public Education

The Mood Disorders Association of Manitoba’s team of speakers provide public information sessions on a range of topics relating to personal and familial experiences with mood disorders. On request, we will provide speakers for select groups such as schools, clubs or workplace groups. To arrange for a speaker call or email the Director of Education. SAD Light Rental or Purchase

Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) is a type of depression that occurs at the same time every year.   For most people with SAD, symptoms start in the fall and may continue into the winter months.  Light therapy can offer an effective treatment for seasonal affective disorder, and MDAM has SAD lights available for rent or purchase.  More info
