BRODIE FRIESEN
Peer Support Worker
Mood Disorder Association of Manitoba
Central Region, Manitoba
Hello, I’m Brodie Friesen and I'm the Central Region's Support Outreach Worker for MDAM. I’m Currently living in Winnipeg but spent most of my younger years including high school in Southern Manitoba. I love rollerblading, photography, cooking, and exercise. I am a certified personal trainer and have focused my education on mental and physical health. I am excited to be working with the communities of the central region and look forward to expanding and tailoring MDAM programs to their needs.
Through this position I hope to focus on decreasing mental illness stigma as well as sharing basic education on common mental health topics. Feel free to reach out with any questions or topics of concern and if we cross paths, say hi!
