Black Eagle Transitions will address the lack of support and assistance available to Indigenous youth transitioning from northern rural life to city life as they start post-secondary schooling. The program will consist of a support group that will be used to address the needs and common everyday concerns that are facing Indigenous youth while in transition.

Topics addressed but not limited to include:

  • Balance
  • Wholeness
  • Addiction
  • Mental health

*Black Eagle Transitions will be guided by the four quadrants of the Medicine Wheel. Including the north direction (spiritual aspect), east (physical aspect, south (emotional aspect) and the west (mental aspect).
