Healthy Brandon and community partners – Mental Health Promotion, Prairie Mountain Health, Suicide Prevention Network and Mood Disorders Association of Manitoba welcome all community members to join in a FREE virtual Blue Monday presentation – Holding on to Hope: Surviving, Reviving, & Thriving in Challenge & Change   with Paul Wesselmann, MA on January 24, 2022, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. – zoom link sent upon registration.

Project Reslience: No One Walks Alone

Wednesday Oct 20, MDAM westman was invited by the RHA conference organizer to display materials and be present at Project Resilience: No One Walks Alone . This was an in-person event featuring on-going speakers and displays. It was for current and retired military, police, fire, and first responders. It was quite well received by the target population. 


Men's Workshop Group

MDAM Westman's men's workshop group with the dog houses they have built for delivery to Northern communities. This project is a partnership between the MDAM men's workshop group facilitated by Brent Rosnoski, BNRC (Brandon Neighbourhood renewal Creation Nation Makers' Space), local realtor Zak Munn, and the Brandon Humane Society. This is the second shipment of houses they have completed and are currently building on a third right now.

An 8-week online informational program with peer support, exploring the interrelationship between personal stories, innermost, thoughts and the ways they influence your day to day decision making. Explore the reasons you make choices and why it sometimes makes you feel off-balance and untrue to who you really are. Based on the book “Get Out Of Your Mind And Into Your Life” by Steven C. Hayes.


Soul Sisters 

Tuesday mornings from 10:00 to 11:00 am. This is a "coffee and conversation" support group for women experiencing mood disorders, low mood, or the frustrations and concerns of Covid-19. It is a group of women helping women through sisterhood and connection. This group does not meet on statutory holidays. (No charge for this group)

Cut the Clutter

Online, Wednesday evenings from 6 to 7 pm. Join us for an hour of weekly decluttering tasks to simplify your surroundings and rid yourself of unnecessary clutter. There's also a private Facebook group for members only to share ideas, progress and pictures.

Brandon Men's Activity Club

Wednesday afternoon from 1:30 to 3:30 pm in person at the BNRC Creation Nation Maker Space in Brandon, Manitoba. It is a group aimed primarily at men 40+ but those younger are welcome as well.
